Process Serving Fees
Updated 19 May 2025 KJH Group will no longer be charging VAT. This will reduce the price you pay for our service.
At KJH Group we provide a fully inclusive Non-Urgent Process Serving Service from as little as £95, this fee will include up to three visits, all mileage to and from the service location.
If an affidavit is required, this would incur a fee of £25 for the time and swearing of the Affidavit.
If the documents for service are emailed to us, there is a fee of 10p per sheet printing charged for any amount over 20 pages.
Majority of the UK (doesn’t include London)
(Visits between the hours 9am-5pm) Process Serving for Non-Urgent Service is charged at £95
(Non urgent Serves will be worked on as soon as the documents are in hand, we aim to complete the first visit within 48 hours, and we aim to complete all serves within 7-10 working days).
(Visits before 9am and after 5pm) Process Serving for Non-Urgent Service is charged at £125
(Visits on weekends) Process Serving for Non-Urgent Service is charged at £150
London Process Serving
(Visits between the hours 9am-5pm) London Process Serving (inside the M25) is charged at £125
Serves will be worked on as soon as the documents are in hand, we aim to complete the first visit within 48 hours, and we aim to complete all serves within 7-10 working days
(Visits before 9am and after 5pm) London Process Serving (inside the M25) is charged at £150
(Visits on weekends) Process Serving for Non-Urgent Service is charged at £175
Outside mainland UK
All Northern Ireland Serves are priced at £150 (Non urgent)

Urgent same day and next day serves start from £195
Same day charged at £195 if the documents are received before 1pm. This fee still includes three attempts at the address, the following two visits, if needed, will be carried out on a non-urgent basis. Documents received after 1pm will be charged at £295 for same day service*/visit or £195 for next day service/visit.
*Documents will need to be received on email by 3pm for urgent same day service.

At KJH we provide a fully inclusive Process Serving Service in Guernsey. Please email for a quote.
Please note, that if an affidavit is required to be sworn on Guernsey, this will incur a fee of at least £500 due to the fees charged by the solicitors/advocates on Guernsey. (a statement of service will be included in the service fee quoted )
Legal Aid Fees
The fee structure is in place according to the LAA and are explained below. A Breakdown and Summary of fees are always included when we send you our fee note.
£25.60 per hour is charged as the majority of our agents are just outside the M25 (We do charge the £18.40 for our agents who are based inside the M25)
Mileage is charged at 45p per mile.
If a swear is need for an affidavit or notary public, this is also added to the fee.
(This may change depending on the LAA Fee Rate at the time)
Please also note,
if we need to travel into, or through any “Clean Air cities” that charge a fee, for example “Bristol Clean Air” etc, these fees will be added to the process serving fee. London ULEZ and CC is included in the price.
Bank holidays
Serving on bank holidays will incur a fee of £50 on top of the fee structure above.
